I’m the wide eyed watcher of the woods through the night, see through the darkness where there is no light. Perched on a branch, in the trees high above, I’m searching below me for what I dream of. Rabbits and rodents that scurry about, over grounds of the forest I look on and scout. Thinking, pondering, planning away, I’m the wisest of birds known in this way.
